If you’ve been following along with our Countdown to Walt Disney World, you may know that we are still 11 months away from our Walt Disney World Vacation. Since we are still in the early stages of planning our Disney World Vacation, one of the best things we can do this month is take advantage of the free resources Disney offers.
One of their best free resources is their Vacation Planning DVD. It has all the latest information on the parks and it’s lovely to sit down and watch with the whole family! It can take up to a month to arrive, so it’s a good idea to order it early.
Another fun freebie is Vacation Planning DVD – you can design your characters and they will be sent directly to your door step! They will ask you for some information in order to unlock “premium content”, but it’s the same information you just gave to order your DVD, so it doesn’t seem too invasive.
Disney used to send free customized maps, but they stopped sending those in 2014. They do have PDF maps of each park that you can download and print from your home printer. These are not only wonderful for planning, but they also make great additions to a Disney-themed scrapbook.
