We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our family! Baby Jackson was born on October 6, 2016 at 5:48am. He was a whopping 8 pounds and 11 ounces of pure sweetness.
His name is actually Jack Adron, which holds a special meaning in our hearts. Jack means ‘God is gracious’ and it is my husband’s father and grandfather’s first name. Adron is the middle name of my husband’s grandpa on his mom’s side. All three men have given us such a legacy of faith and commitment to their families. Our little Jack will grow up with a truly incredible heritage.
We also loved the name Jack because it is derived from John. John was my grandpa’s name who was a talented carpenter and an amazing father. John also has a strong Biblical connection through both John the Baptist, who was a messenger sent ahead of Jesus, and John the Apostle who was referred to as the beloved disciple and one half of the ‘sons of thunder’.
He is a special boy full of silly noises and squishy snuggles. We are already praying for him to grow into a man of God. Eventually I’ll share our birth story (you can find our daughter’s story here), but honestly I’m very tired so it will have to wait for another day.
