Muddy Waters Ceramic Creations

Diane Waters has been playing in the mud for 7 years. After taking a wheel throwing class at a local ceramics supply store, she fell in love with this versatile craft. Diane loves to experiment with different decorative techniques, colors, and forms to create unique ceramics that are both functional and beautiful. She believes that art should be part of our everyday lives to enrich them with mindful experiences and to bring joy.

Preserve My Memories

I started selling on Etsy to fulfill my love of creating things. I have a particular focus on combining the hard and soft – nature photography or wood combined with sparkle, glitter, and held together with a lot of glue! For my Christmas shop this year, I have focused on centerpieces, snowflake wreaths, and ornaments.

Crafterpillar

I sell glow-in-the-dark decals and other colorful vinyl decals for multiple occasions in my little store, Crafterpillar. As a mother of two, the work in my studio is a great way to nurture my creativity and to grow my business – all while being there for my family! My children inspire most of my designs, especially the glow in the dark wall decals. As a bonus – ALL Wit & Wander readers can use the code WWWISH for 10% off their order of $5 or more until the end of December.

Love Grows Everything

I have designed jewelry, furniture, apparel & accessories for the last 22 years for a Radical Company here in LA, and now all over the world. I now enjoy being on my own…and rediscovering myself in a whole new way! I love finding these ancient stones and I love the mystery of it all. I find the healing qualities of stones and seeing whose hands they fall into beautiful. My mantra is “I am Spirit, I am Free, I love God, and God Loves Me. Never was there a time I wasn’t, never will there be a time I won’t be. I am Spirit I am Free.”

We decided it would be our mission to help out local Long Island small business owners and artisans stay afloat by giving them a platform to advertise and showcase their products. That is how the heart and soul of Maiden Long Island was born.

CitySewist

Initially, I bought a sewing machine to hem my jeans and pants. I began sewing handbag patterns and signed up for several specialized online classes to learn more. From there I began experimenting with different patterns and fabric and learned many things along the way. I stumbled upon some special fabric meant to be colored using fabric markers and started creating Kids Color Me Messenger Bags.

If you are looking for a whimsical arty item for kids which can be personalized by them using fabric markers, come check out the CitySewist Etsy shop! The front & back of each messenger bag I sew has a different print. Some have Bling, others have a different strap or zipper color. Just iron or throw in the dryer to set the color after they are done coloring.

Wit & Wander

I have always liked design and had a passion for beautiful words, but I opened this shop so that I could stay at home with our daughter full time. It means the world to me to think that you would consider placing one of my designs in your home. Because I love what I do, I really feel like a piece of my heart is hanging on your walls with each sale. I am honored to be a part of your lives and it inspires me to think about the homes these prints will one day enter into. Outside of Wit & Wander, I love traveling, crafting, photography, and attempting to cook.
