I will be the first to admit that my pregnancy was not always easy. Though I am sure I will be completely in love with the outcome, the road we traveled was rough. While it may not be the best time of my life, I am so glad we got the opportunity to document this special period during the last weeks of my pregnancy.
Some time ago I had an odd realization – this is the last time we will be a family of two. I knew at that moment that it was incredibly important for me to have these pictures. They will not only be a fun way to remember what I looked like while I was pregnant, they will also be a reminder of my first love. I have spent the last four and a half years building a life with my best friend and this beautiful little blessing is coming crashing into the middle of it. We are excited, joyous, and more than a little nervous to meet our tiniest new family member. Through all the upcoming twists and turns I want to remember the love that started it all. I never want to lose sight of the boy who swept me off my feet and the man who continues to cherish and love me in ways I never thought possible.
