I love making my own baby food for our nine month old daughter, but I always feel a twinge of jealousy when I see those brightly colored, seemingly mess-free squeezy pouches lining the shelf of the baby food isles. Unfortunately, I can’t always justify paying a dollar per pouch (if you find them on sale), when I know I can just as easily make my own food for pennies a serving.
I have seen a few of the available options for making your own squeeze pouches in stores, but they always look flimsy and like they would never clean. So, when I saw Squeasy Snackers, I was honestly skeptical. I assumed it was just another frustrating baby food “solution” that really just caused more problems, but I am so glad I was wrong!
When they contacted me about reviewing one of their Squeasy Snackers, I found their website and watched this video that talks about what makes this product unique. My favorite highlights are:
- Flat bottom, which means no spill and easy to fill
- Wide mouth for easy cleaning
- Flexible silicone will flip inside out for deep cleaning
- No spill insert, idea for young babies and thinner purées
- Top rack of dishwasher safe!
By the end of the video, I couldn’t wait to get my Squeasy Snacker in the mail. When I opened the package, I found a fun turquoise pouch that my daughter already thought looked tasty (granted, she thinks most things look tasty these days!). I took it apart, washed it out, and immediately got out a jar of applesauce for a test! I snuck a bite before my daughter could get to it, and it was easy to get the applesauce if you were sucking on the spout, but difficult to push it out by squeezing the pouch itself – exactly what our daughter needs!
By this time, she was reaching for the Snacker and saying “Ba Ma Ba” with some insistence, so I let her try it. It took her a couple of minutes to figure out how it worked, but then she went to town!
Afterwards, I simply popped it apart to wash – it was so simple! I know it would work well with a variety of baby purées – if they are thicker, you just remove the no-spill insert. The 6 oz. Squeasy Snacker (and its big brother – the 16 oz. Squeasy Sport) would also be great for older kids to take a snack to a soccer game or pack a nutritious smoothie with their lunch.
Overall, I was thrilled with the convenience and quality Squeasy Snacker. It is stylish, convenient, and easy to clean. It is simple enough to use that my 9 month old can eat with very little help from mom. Basically, it’s a great product and we can’t wait to take it with us on our upcoming trip!

Thanks for the review! I make my own baby food too, and this looks like something I’d actually use!
I just love that it’s easy to clean! I won’t touch anything hard to clean with a ten foot pole!
Love these! Wish I had them when mine was that age!
